SIMA es un espacio que nos sitúa en el cruce de una cueva con un laboratorio fotográfico. Allí, la penumbra y las imágenes frágiles e inestables son la llave hacia un lugar de incertidumbre: un refugio ante el encandilamiento del mundo exterior. En un mundo saturado de pantallas, fotografías y luces, la posibilidad de un lugar subterráneo y oculto resulta un oasis donde la imaginación puede desplegarse. Dentro los perforemos -laboratotistas con aires de espeleólogos- conviven con sus ecos y fantasmas. Entre el sonido de gotas que caen del techo y se expanden amplificadamente,  reciben a los visitantes y los invitan a participaran de sus invocaciones alquímicas registrando sus huellas en papel fotosensible.  

SIMA is a space that places us at the crossroads between a cave and a darkroom. There, the dim light and the fragile, unstable images are the key to a place of uncertainty: a refuge from the glare of the outside world. In a world saturated with screens, photographs and lights, the possibility of a hidden, underground space offers an oasis where the imagination can unfold. Inside, the perforers—laboratory technicians with the air of speleologists—coexist with their echoes and ghosts. Amidst the sound of drops falling from the ceiling and echoing loudly, they welcome visitors and invite them to take part in their alchemical invocations by recording their imprints on photosensitive paper.
